Knights Foundry

Casting Materials & Alloy Grades

Knights Foundry pours aluminium and a broad range of ferrous casting materials in Wadeville, Gauteng, including high-chromium white iron, Ni-Resist irons, grey and SG irons, carbon and low-alloy steels, austenitic manganese steel, stainless steels including duplex and heat-resistant stainless grades, and specialised nickel-base alloys.

The grades below reflect the material and specification schedule supplied by Knights Foundry. Legacy and cross-standard designations grouped on one line are procurement/search cross-references by material or property family, not a declaration that the standards are technically interchangeable. Parenthetical wrought/common alloy designations are provided as industry cross-references only and do not imply identical chemistry, properties or specification requirements. Final material selection, chemistry, heat treatment, test-bar requirements and acceptance criteria remain controlled by the applicable customer specification.
