Our manufacturing plant spans 16,700 m² in Wadeville, Gauteng.

Annual Production

We produce around 2,500 metric tonnes of castings per year for local and export customers.

We pour castings of up to 5 tonnes in a single piece.

We operate six melting furnaces, with charge sizes of 500 kg, 600 kg, 800 kg, 2 tonnes, 500 kg and 5 tonnes.

Our four sand-mixing stations are rated at 20, 10, 10 and 6 tonnes per hour. One high-volume station can produce up to 150 moulds per 24-hour cycle.

Our continuous mixer and sand reclamation system is rated at 10 tonnes per hour.

Our Endeco automatic carousel has 8 stations.

We operate four heat treatment furnaces. Our Tophat furnaces run at temperatures up to 1100°C.

We machine castings in-house on 20 machines.

Knights Foundry operates two dedicated fettling yards for knockout, grinding and finishing work on site.

Released castings move through our dispatch area for packing and despatch to local and export customers.

Our delivery fleet includes three trucks: Truck 1 rated at 1,200 kg, Truck 2 at 4,040 kg and Truck 3 at 4,220 kg.
